Winter’s Curse

 

 

Winter has just arrived

Frozen roads shine tonight

Squeaking tyres on an endless journey

Two cars, blinded by each other's light

 

With dancing wheels they glide, they turn

The icy dance floor takes control

The screaming wheel's make up the music

The winter devil has reached its goal

 

A sudden noise breaks up the music

Broken glass falls like snow

And now, it's quiet, a dead silence

But the two crashed vehicles start to glow

 

Bit by bit the fire rises

And the flames melt the ice around

Now, water with blood flows

The blood of those who death has found

 

The glowing fire makes up a sign

The wide red river marks the place

And now sirens break up the silence

They come to see their enemy’s face

 

Now they arrive and start to run

But with every meter, a new hope dies

'cause each step seems to make de fire widen

Tears start glowing in the firemen's eyes
